Accompanied everywhere by his friend Fantasio and his pet squirrel Spip, Spirou is an adventurous reporter who fights all manner of villains in every corner of the world. As Spirou and Fantasio return from a trip to Bangkok, they're intercepted by Cellophine, their colleague and an indescribable nuisance. She tells them that they have to go join their friend, the Count of Champignac, who has apparently discovered a fabulous treasure... in Australia!
