CONNAITRE LES CATHARES (ANG.)

From the 11th to the 13th century, South-Western France experienced one of the darkest periods in its history. The Cathars, who were considered as heretics, were handed over to the Inquisition. Catharism, based on a dualist concept of life and concerned to return to the purity of early Christianity, was eradicated.
